Misty Lips® is a unique technique created and trademarked by Georgina, the founder of Eyebrow Ink Styling. For decades, cosmetic tattooing has been evolving into an art form and lip blushing is one of the latest industry innovations. It is a method that tints the lips, using small needles to infuse semi-permanent colour. This is sometimes referred to as lip tattooing because the professionals who perform this service typically use a tattoo machine to inject the pigment into the lips.
However, unlike the permanent lip-tattooing procedure of the past, lip blushing utilises a lighter touch to create more detailed shading and a more natural look. It is similar to other modern cosmetic tattoo trends like misty brow and ombre brow tattoos, just for the lips.
Lip Blushing and Fine Lining is a technique created using the Misty technique. With only a subtle difference, Lip Blushing (the name) is trending worldwide because it is a super natural look and has a sheer colour.
